Intro to Pole

Intro to Pole – 4 weeks

If it’s pole your interested in, then look no further than our Intro to Pole course.

It is a 4 week pole course designed for the absolute novice with no fitness ore previous experience required.

Our classes are designed to be small in size, allowing you to get the most out of your workout and ensure your instructor can guide you through each session safely.

Therefore we suggest booking in advance so you don’t miss out on your preferred start date.

If you need a flexible workout schedule yet want to trial our casual classes, our RD Intro Offer is your perfect option. All of our casual classes are suitable for non and current students, with or without pole experience.

Our instructors are all experienced in offering modifications or progressions for all fitness levels and abilities. Our Intro Offer is a great way to trial just some of what we have to offer at here Risque Demeanor with UNLIMITED casual classes for 14 days.

As class sizes are small in size, this means they can book out quickly therefore we recommend booking your classes at least 7 days in advance.

Just a few tips below before your first class Risque Demeanor class.


To book your casual classes, download the MindBody APP on your smartphone, search Risque Demeanor and pick your class. Alternatively, you can book via the TIMETABLE page on our website or contact the studio.

Should you need to cancel or are unable to make a class, you can do so via the APP or online for casual classes. If you are enrolled in a course, you will need to contact the studio so we can inform your instructor. We require a minimum 2 hours notice for cancellations. Classes will still be charged and make up classes are forfeited if cancellations are made within the 2 hours prior to any class/course.



We generally recommend light and comfortable active-wear that won’t restrict your movement – leggings and a tshirt/singlet are best. Majority of our classes are done with no shoes. Runners are recommended for our more fitness based class of Full Body Fit and Pole Heels are only required for our chorey courses.


Items we suggest you bring include water and a towel. We do have these items available for purchase at the studio also.


Please aim to arrive 5-10 minutes early so you have plenty of time to familiarise yourself with our studio, settle in, meet the instructor and ask any questions you
may have before class starts.


Stretching is just as important as working out. If you can’t make it to one of our stretch classes or don’t have time to hang around and stretch after class, ensure that you take that time to do so at home. Muscle soreness is completely normal for a few days after your class – you’ve worked hard! Listen to your body and rest if you need too. Stay hydrated and keep your muscles warm.


We don’t like to say goodbye, so make sure before your leave the studio you book into your next course/class. You’ll see most improvement if you take part in 3+ classes per week. We recommend one of each – pole, conditioning & flexibility.


Our studio shares the same street as Bikram Yoga, HIIT and Bodyfit Yarraville so we are not hard to find. You can find us on Hall Street, closest to the end of Whitehall Street. We have at car park at the back of our premises where our main entrance is. If you have trouble finding us, please don’t hesitate to call us .
